Difftrent Voltages Vdrop

Thread Starter
Well i have my voltage for cpu set to 1.55 in the bios. It is set to 1.55 but then off to the side is say that the current value is 1.48. So in windows cpuz says the voltage is 1.504. I know its becasue of the vdrop but i was wondering if this will affect my pc in any way. Or am i better off doing the pencil mod to minimize the vdrop

If your Orthos stable and it isn't preventing you from the oc you need then imo no need for the mod. Most only do that mod if they know or think that vdrop is hindering them.

Yes if I'm not mistaken it does, or at least the new version does, if not then run two instances of it. But I'm pretty sure the new version supports quad natively. Not sure if it is the new version in downloads though.

Just stressing your cpu go for small fft's, if you want to stress cpu and some ram go for Large. and of course blend is both.

Most go for Small fft's and put it on like priority 8.

Make sure when you run it you use task manager to set the affinity.

Set one of the instances to hit core 0 and 1, and the other instance to hit core 2 and 3.

Can you explain this a bit more. How do use task manager to set the affinity?
