Whatever you get, make sure it's AT LEAST an 8800 series. You won't be disappointed.

It looks like he's building a second gaming system, and probably not for him. Read his first post specs and compare it to his sig, completely different equipment.

right on the money!
yeah its for my friend's friend. since i did so much "research" hes asking me to help him build a budget gaming computer.
about $700. hes trying to keep the prices low. theres no point in spending 50% more for a 10% performance increase...

im looking at the 8800GS (65nm right?)
i heard its a 9600gt so its a ok card to get?

8800gs is the best card at that price point,though you could have saved a bit by getting a 2160 and ddr2 667.
