Yes I know the 3870 should kill it, but lets assume my sig rig. I am pegged out at like 11k 3d06 right now, will I go further?

No the HD3870 doesn't kill it. The G80 8800GTS 640MB is about equal to my 9600GT (about equal to the HD3870) so I'm assuming the 320MB won't be far behind unless AA and AF are both enabled.

I don't hardly game so why not Benches>Games(not sure RL=games). I am asking because I know the 3870 is going to bottleneck on my 6000 x2.

At that clock speed there is no way a HD3870 will be bottle necked. Just so you know, the HD3870 is considered mid-range these days. Are you sure you aren't referring to the HD3870X2?

I have both cards and a ati 3870 is slighty better for 3dmark06, you should get a increase of about 500 - 1000 points with your sig rig.

No offense but why would you only care about benching with a budget system? Most people that only bench only use top of the line extreme hardware like 9800GX2's with a QX processor.

Maybe I am having a pissing contest with my friends, your right I don't have five grand to drop, but I still like the thrill of the chase. I don't see why people have to have first or they don't want to play.
