Is it at stock clocks? If so, it is artifacting which shouldn't happening and you should RMA it.

I've been having problems with my 9600GT as well. I'm going to be rma'ing mine very soon.

Probably next week. But I just have to run the fan @ 100%. Everything else is fine.

I suggest you RMA your card as well. How long ago did you purchase it?

I have never Overclocked my pc and my temps are between 37*c-72*c
Those are high temps for a stock (ie. never overclocked) card and if there is tearing or random discoloration on the screen (this is known as artifacting) then you should return your card for warranty (known as a RMA).

To check whether you have artifacts, download Ati Tool and run the 3D artifact checker and tell us how you go.

I had to return my 9600GT due to the black screen problem many have encountered.

Try 1 hour or so. If you don't see artifacts it might be a driver problem.
