That's the plan, although probably not all of them. I just needed all four pipes for symmetry/stability. The whole concept was actually born of a desire to have the intake be on that side of the mobo compartment. I needed separation between it and the drive section for airflow.

Not so much a fan boy as having had issues with reference cooling problems with ATI in the past. Gun shy I guess. That and ATI has a history of not playing very nice with my current MMO of choice.

Regardless, the vid card is one of the hardware slots that I tend to waffle around on a lot. That Palit was just the last card that caught my attention.

This past weekend was double xp in my MMO of choice, so that occupied most of my spare time.

Then, I went to in work Sunday afternoon, and just now walked back in the door (Tuesday evening).

So, yeah.

For now, you just get words.

Sorry!

Mothballs, but I'm being careful not to loot it for parts.

I'll finish it off some day, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Well, I'm still ripping off this mobo-in-the-center design for my ground-up build I'm in the planning/gathering stages of. I won't have immense amounts of time to dedicate to it so it'll be pretty crude - at least the first iteration, anyway. we'll see.

Heya Mjolnir.

I'm glad something useful came out of this log.

For the record, this project has been shelved for the time being. Please check out The Charm to see my latest exploits (folly?) with aluminum angle.

For a minute, you had me confused. Apparently I have a thing for "mobo-in-the center design', lol. (The Charm has it's mobo tray in ... ummm ... the other middle?)
