I agree. Phenoms are best overclocked on 790x/790fx boards.

well that sucks,

FSB multi - 11
FSB - 226
Ram - 667
HT multi - 3

what other information do you need?

my computer won't start with HT over 3X when FSB is up

Ok.. I have an ASUS M3A mobo with the latest BIOS. I'm posting an image of my BIOS, now... how should I configure this? Please explain like if I were a dumb guy, because I'm really new at overclocking and all my attempts were failures until now... snif... Regarding this picture of my BIOS which one is HT multi and the value I should configure? The only thing I know is FSB (Clock) jejeje

Well i think your mobo is basically an AM2 with phenom support which supports HT1.0. Thats why you have to use HT multi 3. As i said earlier Phenoms are best overclocked on 790x or 790fx mobos. Or u can try some other mobos with AMD 700 series chipset which has hT 3.0 support. L3 cache speed and memory controller speed should be more than or equal to the HT link frequency for phenom.

FSB 220 (Initially, Then u can go up)
PCIE 100
PLL1 Disabled
PLL2 Disabled
Spread spectrum Disabled
Processor freq. multi 11x
Processor-NB freq multi 7x / 1.4 Ghz (Whatever the option is)
CPU-NB HT link speed 7x / 1.4 Ghz (Whatever the option is)
Processor voltage Auto (To see how much u can go on auto)
Procesor-NB voltage Auto (To see how much u can go on auto)
DRAM voltage Auto (But i prefer 2.0~2.2 at high OC)
SB Voltage Auto (Later at higher OC u may need to push)

** For the voltages initially keep them auto to check how far u can go on stock. After finding the limit u can increase the voltages a bit each time and check the system stability.

Hope it helps

Jejeje.. Doesn´t work... at FSB 220 it boot (with the configuration you gave me) but when trying to run Prime95 or AMD Overdrive Test it hangs.. The same with FSB 225.. when I push it to 227 BSOD appears... I'm cursed...

the best this processor can do due to mulitiplier lock is around 2.4 benchmark tested and stable to achive this just enter bios

scroll to advanced chipset features hit enter go to ram speed set from auto to 333 manual adjustement

then esc go to voltages top left hit enter go down to cpu voltage hit enter change from standard 200 to 218 enter f10 save and exit this should bump up the processor to around about 2.4 with no blue screens or issues i have had it running at 2.5 but after a few days shuts down and plays up bluescreens etc this is a tested streshed clock so this is stable

hope this helps
