First HTPC Build

Alright, I have old parts from my rig in a PC right now and I"m looking to making it into a HTPC rather than pure folding/torreting. Anyways... the rig consists of a MSI K9MM-V motherboard (micro-atx), AMD Windsor 4200+ 89W, Partriot 1GB ddr2-800 RAM (will buy another stick), 200gb IDE hard drive, dvd writeable drive, and a 6600gt (AGP). I do have a 500w PSU, but I don't believe that it will work with a micro-atx case (I've always had ATX cases). Now I'm curious as to which TV-tuner card I should purchase. I would prefer if the tuner came with a remote/reciever as well. I'd also like to know if MythTV is really the way to go (I love Linux and prefer it). I'd also like to know if THIS case would be good, and if the PSU that comes with it would be good to use (yes I know, case PSUs usually aren't good). What soundcard should I invest in as well? I'd also like to know what cable would be good to use to plug the HTPC into my TV. I tried S-Video before, but there is a half inch frame around the picture that disturbs me greatly. HERE and HERE are pictures of the ports on my TV. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the input, but I'd prefer if the tv tuner wouldn't go over the $100 mark.

Well with your video card and the tv both having dvi i would have to say that that's the way to go. you will probably need to buy a longer cable depending on the distance you are spanning and personally i really like the case choice. it's not to elegant but looks like it would fit anywhere and has several front drive bays. you could put an I-O drive in to one of them with A/V inputs and such and a remote reciever.
