No I flashed the bios to the newest version before I ever started OC'ing. I've literally made no changes in the bios at all except to turn off all the OC'ing and it worked yesterday and now I can't get it to post again. I'm trying the new battery though right now.

Well if it's not the battery their is one last thing I would try.Take the MB out of the case and put it on non conductive surface with only the CPU,single DIMM of memory and video card with no drives and see if it will post.

Make sure speaker is connected,if no go try memory in different slot then different DIMM then without video card.

Well I just switched the battery with a working one and still no post, no display, and no peripherals turned on. I dunno. I guess it's time to RMA the mobo again. Can you do a bios re-flash when you can't post? I might give that a try as well just to see if it helps. I've only ever done it through the Gigabyte utility for flashing.

Similar thing has been happening to my ASUS board and it's always a corrupt BIOS. Only way I can fix it is by unplugging the power to the board, removing the battery, and leave like that for a few hours. Upon the next reboot, immediately re-flash the BIOS. It has done it twice (usually because of a bad overclock, but once it did it while I was at stock). I would seriously consider replacing the board. I would mine, but I don't have money .

Good point Melcar.Did you follow these steps to clear CMOS?
Unplug power cord
Remove battery
Move jumper to clear and leave for a moment (in some cases people say try hours or overnight)
Replace battery
Move jumper back
Plug in power

I unplugged the power and everything on the back of the case. I removed the battery and put on a jumper and let it sit there for about 10 minutes. Gigabyte's manual says it takes about 5 minutes to clear the CMOS so I did 10 just to be sure. It worked the first 2 times but hasn't worked since. But this time I left the battery out for about an hour so far and when I get home in a few hours, I'll try it again and see if I can get the bios to post for a re-flash. I put the battery back in before I removed the jumper everytime. So I dunno. If this doesn't work when I get home, I guess I'll RMA it. Yay for the 3 year warranty.

Edit: Okay so I just tried it again and still no post. I guess I'll give it a 4 hour wait this time and we'll see what happens.

Well I guess it's RMA time. Still no post and I'm tired of this crap. I've pulled it out the case and put it on the motherboard box with just the vid card, ram, cpu, hsf, and still no post messages. Damn now I gotta spend another $10 to send this back to Gigabyte.

Kamuirsx, do the fans powers on? Did you try turning on the board with no memory installed? Does it give you beep codes after doing that? What other components are connected when testing? I would disconnect everything. Did you follow Jame's suggestion on taking the motherboard out of the case and placing it on a non-static surface?

Good luck

....okay you quoted the part of my message where I stated I took it out of the case and put it on the motherboard box and you asked if I tried it

But yes the fans come on and so do the DVD drives as stated earlier in my post. I haven't tried with no memory installed but I tried with different memory types including the ones that are supposed to run at 1.8v instead of my 2.0v memory sticks. Nothing seems to be a permanent fix.

So far it's come to this. Everytime I turn it off, in order to get it to post when I turn it back on, I've gotta clear the CMOS but I might have to do it a few times to get it to post. Once it posts, it tells me there's a CPU Frequency error and I go into the bios and everything is set to Auto so I don't know how there's an error. I tried to flash the bios but it didn't recognize my thumb drive or the floppy disk with the bios inside it but it does recognize the floppy drive in Windows and inside the main bios menu as well. So I dunno. Gigabyte's support over the phone isn't that great and I swear to god if they just re-flash the bios and send me the same board back again I'm going to be pissed.

Now I have replaced almost every component of my system and the motherboard still doesn't post no matter the component and my CPU works in 3 other motherboards just fine and they post everytime so I don't think that's the issue.
