Windows Mail Server

I have setup windows server 2003 mail server, i can send mail fine after the setup but im unable to recieve any.. Im not sure if this is thr right place to post or even the right forum but im totaly lost and would apreciate some help.

I have a dynamic IP but i use dyndns to give me a host name e.g. me.dyndns.com, i have tried sending mail to mailbox@me.dyndns.com but nothing every arived....

any insight would be brilliant as have no direction.....

Its more than likely your ISP blocks port 25 outward. You'll have to have some external mail service to send mail properly. When setting up my server that took me a long time to figure out one of the reasons I never bothered with email.

actuall i can send mail fine i did a test mail from home to my work address and it worked fine. Just recieving mail seems to be the problem...

PsYiOn, setting up Dynamic DNS is only got you half way. When you send an email to XX@me.ddns.com you are sending email to your router. In order for you to get this fully working you need to setup port forewarding from your router to the mail server so that the message get delivered. I think that should fix you up
