RealTemp giving different readings.

I don't know which one of the CPU temperature measuring programs to trust. I've noticed that everything except the RealTemp monitor gives about the same readings. RealTemp seems lower. I heard that the readings are off on different monitors for the Q6600 and that I should trust RealTemp.

I have always used Coretemp on my quads. I believe Realtemp is better for the 45nm chips.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure the Q6600 is 65nm. I don't know. Any dependable sources that say which is more trustworthy?

Exactly, thats why I use coretemp on the 65nm chips. Realtemp is said to work better on the 45nm chips.
