PC Issues

Thread Starter
Well after having issues with my old Mobo i went and RMA'd it and surprisingly got a used one from Asus they went as far as to leave the old CPU cooler backplate still on there.

I ended up keeping it thinking it could still be in working order and after about a week i ended up receiving the same problems! The PC would just completley out of random BSOD and restart either to succefully reboot or go into a loop of rebooting. It seems it doesn't BSOD as much on vista than xp so im currently on Vista.

I have been On stock settings since i RMA'd ( bout 2 months ). I went through alot of tests to narrow down the culprit of my problems before the RMA i ran many stress tests ram tests hdd tests swaped ram and thinkin it could only be the chipset it RMA'd the mobo, but now iv geen getting the same problems what could it possibly be?!

You may need to set your RAM voltages manually. If this

is your RAM you should set the voltage to 2.2. default is probably 1.8

i currently have it on default but i pretty sure before it was on 2.2 when i was overclocking. I will do that right now tho.

Also with these random crashed that usually only happen like 2 - 3 times a week max, would it be safe for me to overclock again? I just finished running OCCT for an hr and nothing crashed...

it could be a driver problem

that, i have not looked into as much, but as vista reported the errors it shows that a couple of my components caused it, such as my chipset, my wireless card, and nvidia drivers ( most likely couse they are Nvidia beta drivers) and Intel ICH9

ill update them now...
