Intel Processor from notebook...

Thread Starter
I snagged a processor out of a laptop that my brother was going to trash and was wondering if it is possible to load it up in a standard motherboard.

I have 2 pieces One has pins the other doesn't I think the model number is an Intel T7100

I know it sounds crazy, but if it could work it would be better than the pentium 4 I have right now wouldnt it?

afaik no desktop motherboard takes mobile c2d chips

you are better off selling it on ebay and save the money for a new computer
