is my system. and here is a video I made of it as well.

When I first made this video. The PC was not working. I had just put in the video card an ATI 2600, and it didn't act right. The screen kept flashing on an off. So I turned it off and made the video.

Well, with this long weekend. I turned on the machine. And it's been working, and I'm not sure why. I was even able to get it to run Hellgate london.

You should turn off cool and quiet, then you will stay at 3.2ghz all the time not 1ghz.

well, is there a good argument for or against Cool N Quite? If there is I would like to hear about it. The one reason I always use CnQ is that I've seen it turn some troubled systems around. My buddies wife computer one time kept shutting down, we enabled CnQ and her machine has worked perfectly since then.

So, umm, throw me some ideas for and against plz.

edit: yeah, the cable management is kind of crappy and stuff. I'll get around to it.

Allsop, nice setup

It would be helpful if you listed your hardware specifications in your signature. This would let us know what your running so just in case you need help with a specific hardware component then we won't have to ask. You can do this by going here: http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem.
Cool'n'Quiet is usually disabled when an individual starts overclocking. You'll run into a lot of stability issues with that feature enabled in the BIOS. If your need assistance on OCing then let us know.

Good luck

I fixed it. Here is a SS showing the true speed of my machine. I disabled CnQ like yall suggested. I still think, it's a good feature for say, your moms computer or something. But when your doing HGL one really needs dual 3.2ghz.

Well, I was going to post a screen shot, but photobucket doesn't work correctly under Ubuntu 8.04. I installed it on a whim on my other 250gig drive and go back and forth between Vista and Ubuntu. I really like Ubuntu, but I'll have to go to Vista apparently to upload my pic. Unless yall know of some fix or site that will work.
