Do you have an "infrared" temp gun????

No.....

Get one, now.....

Go buy a LCD display with temp probe...

Most MBs report some form of "MB temperature" which is basically the temperature inside the case. If you have good airflow inside the case, it should not be more than 15*C above ambient. The CPU usually ends up being around 10*C higher than the case temperature (if you have good cooling on the thing).
You probably have air bubbles inside the loop, or the block isn't making proper contact.

He's got a reservoir, the thing should self-bleed within 10 minutes of any major bubbles. Minors should be gone within 15 depending on how bubbly it is in there. My question is, what radiator is he using and what fans does he have it coupled with? from the sound of it, his loop seems to be restricted somehow. Only time i seen high idle temp being close to the load temp is in a restricted loop.

From the lower outlet of the micro res ----> top inlet of the DCC+ Petra top
From the side outlet of DD+ Petra top ----> Swiftec radiator
From the swiftec radiator ----> Center inlet of FuZion
From Fuzion outlet ----> Reservoir.

My temps are 45 idle and plays to a max of 49 loading. Have't seen higher temps as usually my GPU will freeze up (yes thats running hot for some odd reason too even if its on a GT from thermalright!)

Well now that I've read your sig, I think I've figured it out ... Eureeka... AMD processor... LOL (jk)

Is that AMD garbage a quad core?

Do you have the quad nozzle in by chance?

If you don't orientate the quad nozzle correctly, you will not shoot the water onto the D-TEK FuZion base plate correctly. Therefore you do not cool down the CPU correctly... Same goes for your application of TIM...

Don't ask me the alignment of your cores, on that garbage called AMD...

Look at my FuZion v2 below, I apply the TIM in a line parrallel to the words "D-TEK", therefore I turned the center of my "quad plate" perpendicular to the line of TIM... (depends on how you orientated your block on top of your CPU)

Dump the AMD, go with the best INTEL...

BTW, add a little more coolant...

Even if it's their version of "quad core"?

Sorry for the ignorance, but again don't really care to know anything @ AMD products...

His air temperatures were better than what he's getting with water, so unless his ambient increased, then something is wrong with the system.

I agree...

His tubes look low on fluid, maybe just an optical illusion...

Thread Starter
The mobo temps are the same as the cpu temps... EXACTLY the same. So i think its bad airflow in the case then... I have the 5mm nozzle in the dtek not the quad one. I pretty much think the reason for so high temps is the god forsaken GT burning up in there

No other reason i can think of now, since we are excluding any error in the WC setup.

I'm gonna try and find a way to have the WC kit outside the case and have great airflow in there for the GPU and other parts.

In regards to fans, i have 4 yate loons pulling air out, i find it the most effective for keeping the GPU below 80 during gameing and the cpu around 45ish idle. The mobo has the same temps.

The room temps are around 25 now so its 20o higher in the case than in the room, so i guess the problem is airflow then :/ Guess i need more intake, but i can't have any intake before i can get the WC out for better out take ;P
