The HD4870 has two six pin power connectors? Probably need both pluged in to overclock. So is the 4870 gonna comsume more power then a 3870? Because a 3870 only has one six pin connector.

Its power requirement is just barely over the point where it would need only one 6pin connector. It requires 157W, a single 6pin + the PCIe interface would supply 150W. I would guess that it would work and be fairly stable with only one connector, but they added the 2nd for just to be safe and for overclocking.

Anyways, anyone got the latest rumor for the price of these cards? I wouldnt want to pay more than $300 for the 4870.
