MY OS: Vista x64
My friends PC OS crashed, I am trying to copy over the personal files off her hard drive. In their house they had multiple accounts with password protection. I cannot access or copy over their Documents and settings ":Access denied"
what can I do to get those files backed up before wiping the hard drive?!
I can get the passwords if needed.

I assume you have removed her drive and installed it in your rig? Never had that issue...but try creating an account with her user name and password on your rig and then accessing the files.

If you have installed the HDD in your PC then you should be able to simply strip the security off the folders using your admin account. Go to the folders that you're having trouble with, right click, properties, then security. Add yourself to the folder with modify rights, and you should be golden.
