Disk Boot Failure!!

Thread Starter
Hey guys I keep getting disk boot failures, when I boot up. If I switch my HDD to a different sata slot it will boot up... but then it will happen again, I dont have s.m.a.r.t enabled. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and would appreciate the help! This has been going on for awhile, just got my mobo back from RMA because I thought that was the culprit, guess not though? Thanks.
you will def. be rep'd for your help

i had that problem as well just make sure to unplug the sata connector and try it in a new one. if that does not work then load up bios and make sure the boot order is in correct order

yeah, its strange because if I unplug the sata and plug in another port it will boot up and work for awhile..im starting to think its my power supply because it will restart sometimes out of no where. Also the psu fans cut in and out.

do you have any other hard drives? Make sure your hard drive priority is set properly or the jumpers on the back of the drive are set if your using IDE.
