I was thinking of doing something like this:

most well run lan parties, have security personal at doors, and patrolling the area.

even though everyone likes free stuff and an unattended station at a lan is an easy pick up, most people don't touch others machines. I suggest getting to know the people around you and watch each others backs

I haven't had a problem with anyone taking my stuff.. but better safe than sorry, I guess.

I really doubt you have to worry about this kind of thing..It would look insanely suspicious if some random person came up to your rig and started pulling parts out and walked away. The people you'll be next to aren't going to go for that...unless they're retarded and passed out.

Worst case scenario, sleep while hugging your tower, pee in a water bottle, and never physically leave your station.
