Sorry to bump prematurely, but the site was down in all. Well stupid me just realized one of the fans weren't hooked up, lol. Shaved 2c off my max load temps, and brings the system back to idle temps much faster. Will this swiftech radiator benefit from higher cfm fans than the stock ones the kit comes with?

Well heres the pic of the final product, and yeah they are pretty high cfm fans, but didnt know if it was worth my bother to swap them fans out for my 2 silverstone fm121s. Was just curious if anyone new if this rad would perform better with 110cfm before I go through the hassle of swapping fans. Thanks all.

Ah, I thought it was custom b/c of the micro res, apogee gt, and d5. But come to think of it, those are all swifty. Those are a good set of parts, and you're getting great temps.

Thanks, Im currently stress testing 3.2 on the old opty, and having good succes thus far. At 1.5 in bios and 1.48 after vdrop, been running over a hour and havnt hit over 45c, compared to the tuniq that wouldve hit 70+ by now. Thanks for the input

Alright guys, any ideas how to silence the pump? My ears are very sensitive to high pitched noises, and my pump emits this ear piercing to me noise. I used the foam pad that it came with, any other suggestions?

First off I'd like to say something that a lot of people on here will hate me for.........but I think premade kits aren't as bad as most people say. Yes, it is true that the kits can never be as good as a custom made WCing system, but for people making their first dive into WCing, prebuilt kits are a great start. I wanted to go WCing, but was never sure just where to start so I went out and bought a kit. It was a pretty crappy one...so crappy I don't even remember what kind it was. But it showed me what I wanted and didn't want, what I needed and didn't need. I was also a lot more confident in putting water inside my case with a prebuilt kit. So to all those out there that are new to WCing, I won't give you crap if you buy a kit. But I will give you crap if you stay with a prebuilt kit! Ha!Ha!Ha!

So do you think this high pitched noise is because of vibration or just the normal noise the pump makes?

I took a peek at your pictures and it looks like the foam padding is doing its job, but in the last picture you posted it looks as though the right side of the pump (the side closest to the front of your case) might be touching your hard drive "wall". Just make sure the pump isn't bumping up against anything.

If your pump is "isolated" from touching anything then it might just be the normal noise emitted from the pump. I guess the only way to quiet that noise would be to encase the pump in some kind of foam box. The only bad thing with doing that is that the pump will get even hotter which in turn will just add more heat to your water.
