Multiple webcams on USB hub - Is this Possible?

Thread Starter
Guys,
I have a question and i really need help setting up
A surveillance for my room and garage.
I do have a last free USB port for the webcams
I'm planning on setting up 3 USB webcams on different locations.
Can i connect them on a hub all together?

If this setup isn't good for surveillance
Can you teach me a better setup?
Thinking of getting a wireless cam
but i dont have idea how does it works..

All i need is to setup 3 camera's..
Pls. advice. Thanks

I believe you can get it to work. It should be no different than having multiple flash sticks on a hub. however, im not sure about the software side of it, if you can run multiple instances of a recording program.
Try this program.
