I don't like all the "haters" so I'll ignore their posts...but it is true that you also need to take into consideration your ambient temps at the time you read your CPU temperature. It might look like a huge improvement, but since you checked your temps during the hottest part of the day and then lapped it and rechecked temps at night... you will see that you're not getting a "perfect" comparison. Either way, I agree that lapping does help! Can't wait for the pics!
Thanks for the support man, My ambient temperature usually is always the same and I usually do my stress testing at about this time of night so it does not make much of a difference. The temperature is always around 79F when I do my stress testing. It was my mistake for not posting my ambient conditions in the first post, but I edited it

I have one S-Flex on my TRUE apparently rated for 28dba.

I had a panaflo on it before running 114cfm and it was terribly load, almost like an airplane. I added two for a push/pull config and it was unbearable.

So thus, I bought my Scythe S-Flex. You could try to add another on it, but I'm not sure it would justify the noise you'd be hearing, unless they're really silent fans.
Yes I have the Antec 3 speed fans with the switches on them, and they can be loud on the High setting. My computer is already kind of loud, but I am going to add another fan to see what kind of differences I get. If the load temperature does not go down at all, then I will take it off.

Only thing is I do not have another fan clip so what do you guys suggest I use, some rubber bands or zipties or what?

Paper clips? I'm sure just about anything will work... but if you have some talent, needle nosed pliers, and lots of patience ( I have none)... then I imagine paperclips would work and look nice.

or just go with some rubber bands! Ha!Ha!

I did not do any stress testing during the day once again hehe so that did not make a difference in my ambient temps. Last stress test I did before lapping was about this time yesterday and that was the very reason that I got the impulse decision to lap my CPU and TRUE, because 54-58C was depressing to me .

Nice pictures man! Your setup looks hawt with all the thermalright~! How is the sink for your GPU working out? Is that the HR-03? I have an 8800GTS and was thinking about using this...

What is the bearing trick you mentioned?

Yes the HR-03 is amazing I have my GPU overclocked to 846 and running smoothely at 48C under stress. It does not go above 50C, but the bearing mod is putting a bearing on top of the metal piece that goes on the CPU of the TRUE. Since the bracket that straps down the true has a screw there in the middle the hole of the bearing fits in perfectly and it actually helps to have the right pressure so the TRUE does no slide around. Also it helps to shift the heat through it I've heard. The picture is kind of blurry, but if you look right in the middle under the strap down bracket you will see the bearing there. Fits in perfect .

Thanks for the compliments bud,

You can juuust see it between the bracket and base.
