Umm, aluminum and copper will cause galvanic corrosion in distilled water. If you add and anti-corrosion agent like pentosin g11, you reduce the chance of corrosion. I would still not run aluminum tho.

I see nothing wrong with Koolance personally. Some of their products are actually worth while - for example, my first WC rig was a pre-built rad/res combo from Koolance on a Lian-Li case.... It took my E6700 @ 3.66 Ghz to about 30-40C under load.

After about a year of use - I still didnt see any corrosion in my copper waterblock.

How will it occur in "PURE DISTILLED WATER" ??? It's not actually corrosion thats occuring, it's electolisis ... It won't happen unless there is a conductor introduced into the "PURE DISTILLED WATER."

FYI, I dang sure would never use ALUMINUM in my loop either ...

And it can dissipate 100W of heat. Really? Don't think so. Oh it may be able to but your system would cook!

Why don't you just go buy a KOOLANCE Aluminum radiator, install it into a loop full of copper blocks, add NO corrosion inhibitor, and come back to us with your results...

Otherwise, stop the FLAME WAR ...

Koolance does use aluminum in all of their products.

Koolance does restrict on the barbs.

Koolance does suffer from galvanic corrosion. Bad.
Um no, they stopped using aluminum in any of there products, all of there barbs are interchangable, and everything is plated so galvanic corrosion is impossible in any of there block as of december last year. Keep up on more then just d-tek and danger den water cooling.
