Never said the comparison was overly logical, he asked me what I considered hardcore. In terms of video games, I consider nothing hardcore. You are sitting behind a computer using a mouse and keyboard (sometimes a controller) and moving around in a pixelized world. Where does the hardcore come in? Maybe a 'hardcore' case of addiction if you're raiding for 18-20 hours straight 4 damn times a week...but that's about all the hardcore I see.
You are thinking "Hardcore Gamer".
I realize its antics, but we're not describing a gamer as hardcore, we are classifying a gamer as a hardcore-gamer.
And yes, war is pretty hardcore. So is the hoagie I just railed.
