Sorry to bother (I don't have a E7200 =\\ )...but I was wondering:

Are there even any other E7*** chips out there besides the E7200?

Yes the E7300 @ 2.667GHz RRPs at £90 UK ($120USD) I think

Get a E7 series if you want a great budget CPU. E7300 is great OC'ing CPU because it's still on the early batches

P.S

Here will soon be a E7400 as well at 2.8GHz.

Hi there.

I run an E7200 @ 3.8GHz everyday (400 x 9.5), and have had it to 4.085GHz (422 x 9.5), but I'm not sure that it was stable. It runs at 1.36V, but only because my motherboard won't let me change the voltage for some reason (it just auto-sets to that).
I benched it at 4GHz, because that seemed to be stable, and scored 13,232 3DMark06 (will put a link to it in my sig when my goddamn internet decides to work properly again).

It runs at 33 deg idle, and 57 under load, which is all down to the 9700 on it.

Still running at 3.6 400x9.0 @1.325v, seems stable after test from ortho

Installed another fan on my hyper 212 and added more stock CM thermal compound since the previous doesn't seems to be sufficent.

Temps only dropped by 3-4 degrees -.-" which at load is 63-64. idle is 40-45

3600MHz @ 1.325v,

1.325v is high voltage try bumping it down to 1.285v – 1.3v it should be plenty of voltage to power the E7200 @ 3.6GHz.

Your idle temperatures seem fairly high they should be around 34 – 38C, your load temperatures seem ok but it would be nice to see them @ 56 – 60C. I would recommend re sitting your heatsink & fan only use a small amount do not apply tonnes it will act as an heat storage. Loads of people have different ways of applying thermal paste. Just search it on Google to find the best method.

If you are worried about the temperatures, just remember your maximum thermal slow down temperature is 72C so you are well within your thermal slow down but if you can knock off another 4C even better still.

#Edit#
I run my CPU at 3800MHz @ 1.33Vcore temperatures = 38C Idle, 66C Load and I have a hot room.

When I run @ 4002MHz @ 1.36Vcore temperatures = 42C Idles, 68C Load

P.S. Try another re sit and a bolt thur kit they can help as well

I just rearranged HDD, pulled some cables out of the way and reseated my S1283 facing the top of my 300. Ambient ~27C, Idle 32C, Orthos Small FFTs load 54C with a vcore of 1.296.

Dude, your voltage is way too high. It will kill the chip. With 45nm Intels you need to stay under 1.3625v. You probably can get 3.33 stable with 1.2v or less anyway.
