Crysis Glitches, Fun Facts, And things you may not have thought of.

I've decided to post some of the glitches I've found throughout the game or things I thought were funny and other people may not have thought of.

Glitch: 4 Arms
Grab an object and enter the water. You should still hold the object and now have another set of arms swimming ahead of you. Exit the water and press primary fire. Your character should punch as you throw the object at the same time displaying 2 sets of arms.

Glitch: Stuck in the floor
This is at the reckoning area of the mission. Not sure if this works for everyone. Load the game when your between the two doors about to go out on the flight deck to defend it with a minigun out. You should spawn, fall through the floor and be able to look up to see your character's feet where they should be.

Glitch: Max railgun rounds
Once again in the same area as above, when the checkpoint hits make sure your facing the right side of the room with the railgun out. It should say "Pickup railgun ammo" for all of a split second. Hit f and you should grab ammo out of mid air and have 40 railgun rounds. Now go show some aliens why they shouldn't mess with the best.

Glitch: Flying turtle: I've seen this done but have only gotten it to work once. Stand on a turtle, look down, maximum strength and punch the turtle. You go flying off the turtle and will most likely kill yourself from impact upon landing.

Fun thing: Every grab someone and hit your melee key? Depending on your primary weapon, you'll either punch them in the face and throw them. Or you'll use the butt of your rifle to knock some sense into them a few times before you throw them off.

Fun thing: Stress relief: Grab an alien (yes you can do this and not get stabbed by their feet oddly enough.) and slam your melee key. Your character goes nuts beating the living f*** out of the alien and won't release him until you tell him too. Be careful though, the alien may explode in your hands.

Fun thing: Batting practice: Every try meleeing a gernade coming at you? It's possible.

Fun thing: Killer chicken: Ok, step one, find a live chicken. Step two, maximum strength. Step three, aim and fire at someone. Be sure to grab the chicken and keep throwing it at them. Death by chicken. (Note: You can also use ducks, crabs or all sorts of furry creatures to accomplish this.)

Fun Thing: Vehicle bomb: I didn't figure this out until some time into the game. Press shift to hit whatever vehicle your in to go faster. Aim at an enemy structure or vehicle and press f in time to get out. Momentum carries the vehicle (even tanks and boats) into it and blows it up in a glorious fashion.

Fun Thing: C4 Soldier: ah the days of Metal Gear Solid. Run up behind an enemy with cloak on, throw c4 and it should attach to them. Get them in a group and........

railgun?didn't see that, where do you get that?
grabbing an alien was funny and rather the most effective way to kill them.

In the first area, on the beach I was holding a duck, just walking with it, and it quacked and I died! No idea if it is constant glitch though.

EDIT: I am at work so I can't hunt this down, but could you post the one about the shark attack?

It's the equiveleant to a railgun. Essentialy the VERY same thing. Fires a single beam projectile that takes a while to recharge. I forget what it's called in the game.

Glitch: everything is freaking broken

haha seriously though, go into your console sometime and check out the hundreds of errors

as far as glitches- anyone else think it's weird that you can control mounted guns while driving? for example, on the inflatable boat things- the computer needs a guy to man the gun, but you don't. I'm sure it's just to improve gameplay and make vehicles suck slightly less, but still.

also, i wish the very high hack didn't upset punkbuster

You don't control the guns unless you change seats?

yeah you did and yes it was the gauss gun. Basically a handheld railgun.
Try getting into a humvee or a boat and pressing primary fire. The gun fires.

i couln't use guns on the jeeps unless i change the view, using the inside-vehicle view doesn't let you use the gun.
and yeah the c4 is fun, especially on the nano suit guys who don't go down even after taking 40 sniper shots to the head.
