Hi

i'am happy yo post here this very important question

What is the good mobo for some OC on phenom 9750 ?

i've M2N-SLI dlx and 4200+ EE and i've read here Nf 5xx are not good for phenom OC :/ why it's not good ?

i'am waiting for my phenom and a HD3870

sure 790FX is the best to buy ! but who make the best mobo on it ?

i've old antec true power 480W too, maybe it's a little light ? maybe not ? i've only 1HD and 1DVD

thx

That would depend. Are you going to crossfire?

The 770 is the basic MB chipset and some have limited voltage settings and no crossfire.
790X is midrange with good OC function and crossfire.
790FX is top of the line with good OC and crossfire.

Asus,Gigabyte and DFI are probably the most popular high end MB's.

The 9750 is a 125 watt CPU so make sure the MB supports it,not all do.
Asus has been releasing some MB's with 140 watt support so if your OC'ing you might want to check one of those out.
Also get one with the newer 700 SB and not the older 600 SB.

If your OC'ing and have a 3870 and maybe crossfire you should definitely upgrade your PSU.
Depending on the model your PSU it has a 18 and 15 amp 12v rails or two 18 amp rails.
Size would depend on if your crossfire or not but I would recommend getting one you can crossfire with, difference would not be that much.
Corsair 620 or 650 would work fine and are top quality.
