Unstable overclock maybe? I ran it at 1680x1050 maxed out with a GTS 320mb and it ran fine

You most likely need more RAM. With so little ram your computer is paging important information to disk...and because hard disks are slow, it can lock up games like that.

Thats the only thing I can imagine. I've run it on max settings on my old AGP 7600 Socket 754 board with no problems. IT's a joke to my new computer.

Doubtful, I ran ut2004 on a 5400 RPM with 1 gig of ram and it worked perfectly fine.

Nah i dont think so because it does the same at stock. Also my gfx card is artifact tested with ATItool for 20minutes and it is stable. And my cpu is stable at 100% usage for an hour. Maybe i just need a new gfx driver im running on 169.21 atm.

Doh, Why didnt i notice that?

Nice observation +1.. Thats the problems. It will spudder if you dont have enough ram because it Uses your hard drive to store like it should with ram. But much slower.

Again, I HIGHLY doubt it. Thats 1GB of ram. It's MORE then enough unless windows has a TON of crap running in the background.

I ran UT2004 Perfectly on max settings on the following rig
AMD Athalon 64 3000+ (Socket 754)
1GB DDR PC333 (I think I could be wrong about the speed)
PNY GeForce 7600 AGP.

Well if its not the RAM it may be some type of antivirus software or something else bogging it down. I'm pretty sure its due to HD access though.
