I have been kicked down a second nature Whisper Power filter model no. 2b ...I was planning on using it in my WC loop. however I cant seem to find any info on it about head or flow rate. the smallest Wisper power filter that I see online sayes its 125 gph...is that enough? I could use it for my 2nd pump if not i guess...any ideas? oh my loop is gonna be external.

you can test it. have it pump water from a reservoir op trough a tube, and see at what height it stops flowing.
but really, i think it will do fine anyway if you get a low-restriction loop. (DD MC-TDX, heatercore rad)

Yeah, like ChielScape said, just hook up a tube and run it up the wall. Turn on the pump and where the water stops is your maximum head from the pump. It would probably do fine with lower restriction stuff.

ok so I did a test and found that it didnt have much for head...maby 2'' at the most. im gonna have to mod it though becouse it has a weard output on it...no problem though ill figure it out.

I dont plan on haveing it do much pushing...just flowing the water right? if everything is at the same lvl everything should be ok right...I mean I could turn the rad on its side so the input is at the top and the output is at the bottom...keep the block at mid. this should keep the flow going I think.

I was gonna build a bong at some point but ill get a good pump for that...I mainly need this pump for testing my DIY waterblock...I still need to stick the block together but im close to doing that soon. if anyone is interested in my build id be happy to pick at your brains...the more I learn the better, at this point im a blind man that has seen a pinpoint of light. I could use a couple extra heads.
