Thanks XDRM,
I checked the fan and by the pictures, looks big and difficult to install. Had you had problems with the installation or observed that took too much space for other components to install like memory? Also, how noisy it is? They say it goes at <39 Decibel Isn't that a bit noisy? Thanks

Maxei, sorry for the late response. Here is an extremely helpful guide that I followed when I started lapping my heatsinks: http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling...ltake-big.html.

Let us know if that helps

In regards to your "noisy" question, if your really wanting something quiet then go with a cooler that allows you to change the fan. For example my Thermalright XP-90C lets me mount either a 80mm or a 92mm. I can choose any type of fan as long as it's that size. The fan can be high speed, low speed ect ect....it just has to be the compatible size.

Good luck

Hi all, I finally decided for the OCZ Vendetta heatpipe CPU heatsink, for less than $30.00 (shipment not included).
Thanks thlnk3r for the info. I will still take a close look to that. I am not sure if the OCZ vendetta can have a 120 mm fan as it seems to me that I saw it somewhere, not sure though. The low noise of this cooler made me decide for it. I will post on temperatures once I install it and run linux on it (I'm a Debian fanboy Cheers

AC Freezer Pro is great actually, for it's price too, I was crazy enough to tried that pin-mod thing on my just sold 5000+BE, which made it 1.55v and Temps are in working range (don't remember need check the pic i took from my blog)

i tell u what not to get , GeminII from Cooler master, bought that once, very good looking, without super duty 120mm fans it doesn't help much cooling instead it kinda trap it.
