Feser coolant=tubing dye

Thread Starter
Well, I for one can no longer in good conscience recommend Feser-one UV reactive coolant to anyone. At least not Orange. It works just fine, color is good, cools just fine..... the issue it creates however is VERY noticeable once you drain your loop for maintenance.

The following picture is Tygon R-3603 after about 4 months of exposure to Feser-One Orange UV fluid....

Sorry, focus isn't perfect but you more than get the idea. So, If you don't like replacing tubing then I suggest one does not use Feser-one orange. Otherwise....it looks good in the loop (when it's not drained)

All coloured dyes will stain tubing, it's pretty normal Luckily it's not like tubing is that expensive.

And I believe the worst one is PC-Ice...

If it does get stained it's normally pretty easy to clean them up

Some tubing stains much more than others, i've had the same tubing in my rig for months, 1/2" XSPC & Feser 1 and it's not stained it yet!

Hey Prosser13,

What would be the proper way to clean a reservoir? I plan on using Feser One "RED" dye in my new build, will have XSPC Reservoir top. Not much room to get in and clean, just fill port on top, or entry/exit ports...

Few options...

Normally I would recommend high pressure water, but you don't really have an option to do that.

Sysclean is meant to work well, but that's not free so you might not be interested

Vinegar is another thing that I've heard about using, dilute white vinegar in water and try that out.

The easiest way often is to simply use a q-tip to try and rub the residue off, works a lot of the time
