First of all, take this with a grain of salt. We shall find out soon if it is true, according to the article. I hope it is.

Rumor: Street Fighter 4 on PC, PS3, 360 in Winter
by Chris Faylor May 27, 2008 11:02am CST tags: Street Fighter 4, Rumor
Capcom is planning to release Street Fighter IV on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this winter, according to a report from Jeuxvideo.fr

While Capcom has only officially announced an arcade version of the long-awaited fighter, console editions have been expected ever since its unveiling. The French site claims it obtained the information from a now-removed listing on a Capcom press site.

Though this rumor appears rooted in common sense, it is supported by the fact that Capcom is holding its big CAPTIVATE 08 Media Summit event later this week and the part where there has already been one apparent leak of embargoed information.

A PC version would continue Capcom's recent support of the platform, as evidenced by last year's port of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, this week's enhanced re-release Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition, and the upcoming PC edition of Devil May Cry 4.

Are there even any fighting games on PC right now? It would just dominate the PC market, I would think.

In Japan there's a few Doujin fighters that are actually pretty good like Melty Blood and Eternal Fighter Zero. Melty Blood was popular enough to spawn updated ports to the arcade and PS2. Guilty Gear XX #Reload is also one of the few modern fighters that was released for the PC. But in the end, no one goes to their PC to play fighting games.
