Earbuds <$50 - Suggestions?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a good set of ear buds that have a good range of sound (good bass, and high end) and can block out a fair amount of noise. I work in a fairly loud environment and iPod headphones don't cut it.. So... sub $50, noise canceling, good sound quality. Any suggestions? I've done a bit of looking around myself, but I'd rather get some personal opinions.
Thanks in advance!
Mike

most earbuds under 50 bucks if they arnt really bad are gona have similar sound qaulity my freind owns a pair of these and they have fairly good sound qaulity, well at least for under 50 bucks, plus they look really cool http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/smokinbuds-p-10.html only $30. if you wana spend a little more for a lot more qaulity these are much better http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/fullm...cket-p-30.html for $60. if you want to spend any more than 60 your sound qaulity will go up dramaticaly and i would avoid skull candies at higher prices.

I would avoid Skullcandy at all prices, not just higher prices. My suggestion would be either get a pair of JVC Marshmallows (FX33/FX34), or the JVC Air Cushion (FX66) for slightly more. Both are in your price range.

Sennheiser CX300, MSRP is 89.99, but they are 49.99 shipped on amazon right now, while not the best pair, they are certainly, imo, the best pair for the money. If you wanna go a bit cheaper, V-Moda actually makes great buds, and the V-Moda Bass Freq Earbuds are only like 30$ Personally i'd spend the extra 20$ and get something around 70-80$ because the difference in quality at that level is outstanding, but CX300s compete with many of the overpriced buds in the 70-150$ range, and i agree, avoid skull candy, unless all you care about is low end, and don't care if you miss out on 80% of the sound

I got the v-moda Bass Freq buds after reading good reviews about them on multiple sites. CNET even gave them an editor's choice award. Although the name suggests lots of bass, I don't think it's too bad. A little bit of extra bass is good for the rock genre though, which is what I mostly listen to.

They also have quite good noise isolation.

V-moda's are too pricey, and too muddy in comparision to other earbuds for the price.

Go with the JVC Air Cushion (FX66). You won't regret it.

I just got the JCV FX66 in the mail from Amazon today ($25 shipped). They are great for th e price point! I've heard several pairs of earbuds in the sub-$50 range, and this blows them all away!

Thanks for all your help! I'm going to check out everything as soon as I get a little more free time. And I have been looking at some more pricey pairs.. Tempting.. But for the time being I'd be better of just getting a decent pair for a lower cost. Again, Thanks for all the help! Any more suggestions would be awesome!
