Noob question about Outlook 2007

Thread Starter
I recently did a fresh reinstall of windows. So now I'm wanting to retrieve my Outlook stuff. I imported the .PST file successfully, so I have been able to retrieve my folders and saved emails. However I have not been able to find my contacts.

F.Y.I. The way I used to pull up email addresses was by simply typing the first few characters in the "To..." field. Outlook would fill in the rest. I'm wanting to be able to do this again.

How can I get these back? What am I overlooking?

WAB (Windows address Book), or if you exported a CSV file for your contacts. If you dont have those, you probably lost them.

EDIT: Here is the MSKB article about it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270670

As far as I know the .PST file does not contain your address book. Just emails and folders. You would have had to back them up to a .CSV file first as was previously mentioned. Sorry, but hope this helps. If anyone knows another way, please share as I would be interested as well. Thanks!
