Wow, just picked it up a couple hours ago and I've been playing the whole time till I stopped to type this. I would give this a 9 the combat is really fun, the whole leveling system is interesting and I love the dialogue system and how it can affect future events. A few problems are the A.I which could be better (them taking cover automatically would be nice), no in-game AA.. WHAT! forcing it with catalyst control panel doesn't do that great of a job, and navigation can be a pain to me. But overall the whole experience together, the vastness and epic scale is what makes it so great.

very cool game, too bad it doesn't run as well as i expected on my laptop. the problem are not the graphics, the problem is that, after about 20-30 minutes of gameplay the game seem to run by burst. not really skipping, just slowing down then going at the regular speed. but it's still playable

that and the hitting of the windows button that knocked me out of the game 3 times in the same firefight.

i'm playing a soldier and i'm going the renegade way.

And you don't think that is caused by the 8600? You seem to have plenty of RAM for this game...

If you're running at 1680 x 1050, you might be running into video memory problems considering that the 8600M GT has 256 MB of video memory. Just a thought, try lowering the resolution and/or the quality of the textures see if the problem persists.
