DRM? Similar to Bioshock? Person said it would not play on his computer. (poor video card, so he's selling it cheap.)
there is a limit of 3 installation, but if the guy uninstalled the game properly you shouldn't have any problems.

the DRM is hard, but it won't prevent you from playing, if everything is done the proper way.

so it's unlimited installations basically as long as you uninstall the game before changing computers or re-formating your hard drive?

How do you "train" with different weapons?

I have been trying not to read too much into this thread so I don't catch any spoilers. But I am a little bit into the game and am leveling up but everything except my pistol sucks butt. My assault rifle has '1' accuracy. I can't hit the broad side of barn with it. I started the game as an infiltrator and have been trying to juice up my sniper rifle but its still wobbly as hell.

I usually end up just shooting fools with my pistol about 150 times to get the job done. Any pointers is appreciated.

I believe the only way to change the attributes of a different weapon is to alter the mods that are on it (+25% against synthetics, better sights for +9% acc). As an infilitrator (I'm one too), you're limited to the pistol and sniper rifle, as you can't spend level up points on shotguns/assault rifles - or 'aim/zoom in' with rightclick.

To improve accuracy/damage, you can spend those points on pistol/sniper rifle. I find that by always having a decent pistol, it serves me quite well in this game. I do admit that sniping can be a pain.

Neat sniping trick: If you're taking cover, try to line up your shot carefully before you zoom in, if you're on target, the reticule will go orange, and you can rightclick to pop out and cap em instantly.
If you can't get it perfect, I find the 'wobble' gets worse with time, so lining up, even vaguely and taking a shot before popping into cover seems a better option than staying zoomed in trying to control the wobble for too long, and leaves you less exposed.

EDIT: I just take 2 folks with assault rifles with me, and use marksmen on the pistol near-constantly. I do miss when sniping occassionally, but then I should spend more than 3 points on it - just so much else to advance in!

Quick question on achievements : Do they carry to all 'careers' I set up, or just the one I finish the game with?

aka, If i cap 150 folks with a pistol, does the bonus apply to
a)the rest of the game I play with that save
b)Anytime I use that character to restart and play through again
c)everyone, even new characters I subsequently create.

I know C applies for sure.

I wish the Mako combat was more challenging. The cannon kills most things in 1-2 shots and enemy rockets move sooooo slow. More diverse enemies would be a nice and FASTER ELEVATORS!
Once again...

You must have them on auto level up

I think I may start over as a soldier or something. Sniping isn't as fun as I thought and if I can't even use a assault rifle or shotgun properly, that takes a load of fun out of it.
