Mass Effect PC Thread - Page 33

Got the game last night, installed it, started playing around 4 pm, and didn't stop until 11:30. I'm not an RPG guy, but this game is amazing and will undoubtedly suck up a lot of my upcoming time.

Good God. My ass hurts sooo bad from sitting here at the computer all day. I've been playing MEPC for I don't even know how many hours straight. The game is absolutely fantastic, and does a superb job of making the story seem real. There were quite a few points where I forgot I was even playing a game. It was like I was actually the Shepherd.

I can't wait for 2 and 3.

I started over (finished the regular story line pretty quick, but didn't do much on the side - I'm not really used to being able to do anything but the main story ) I like how it lets you keep your character from the end of the game if you start a new career. I started off at like level 38. My Shepard's a badass now

The story is fantastic and epic and amazing, the final battle was a bit annoying though.

Should've done some side quests, my Shepard was level 50 at the start of a new game.

I just finished the game and WOW, that was absolutely amazing.

That beats out HL2 as my favorite game now

Just got the game the other week and realized the 7600 Go + Turion 1.8Ghz on my laptop wouldn't cut the mustard. So when my Economic Stimulus came in 3 days later I built my current system. I can run it on the highest settings at 1920x1080 at stock ^_^

Still can't decide if I like the film grain effect however...

I played the game "shotgun style" on the 360. That involves me being a vanguard, repeatedly skipping dialogue and running up to peoples faces with the barrel of my shotgun.

I also just finished it about 5 minutes ago. Such an amazing game, and it is up there amongst HL2 as far as epic goes. Come on Mass Effect 2 and 3!!!

Forcing AA through the control panel KILLS performance, but it was totally worth it. The lowest I dropped was ~40 fps all maxed. But it looks SOOO much better with AA.

Played for probably a solid 10 hours today. Wasn't really planning on it, but this game seems to have a habit of sucking up hours at a time.

Also, Gunnery Chief Williams = hot. Woo nekked.

Yea, I felt kinda bad *spoiler* about leaving Kaidan behind to die *spoiler*, but Miss Williams is worth it

I was completely surprised by what happened to Wrex though.

*spoiler*

Ashley shot him in the back of the head, PEW PEW.
