Nice, I'm going to try that when I get home =)

I wonder how high you can crank these up to with good air cooling. Thats why I made this post actually, to see what everyone else has been able to get to.

That's not very high. I got to 776/1940/1040. I probably could go higher but overclocking video cards is boring imo.

Do you leave them at that? Are you stable?

I'm also interested with the results of these overclocks. I'm looking into buying a 9600gt and from gaming benchmarks a 9600gt at 750 core is on par with a 8800gt (stock).

I got my 9600GT from PALIT with 1GB RAM, its factory OCed at 700/1000, and i currently have the E6850 Core 2 Duo processor, so when i got it at first, i benchmarked the card thru AquaMark 3 at 145,968 points. I recently OCed my CPU to 3.6Ghz from 3.0Ghz and OCed the video card to 751Core/1106Memory through nTune and jumped up to 163,757 score in AquaMark 3, everything is much more smoother and i have the case air cooled with 12 fans everywhere, and i turned the fan up to 70% on the video card, no artifacts, no crashing, no freezing, its completely stable at 32C at idle and 42C at full load while im playing Far Cry or Crysis for example, i love it
