what cod4 needs... (pc) - Page 5

Personally I would like it if PB or something else could ensure no users hacking. I hate it when someone with a pistol on the other end of the map snipes you/headshot through 5 buildings with kill cam on and doesn't get kicked...

If you see someone on a 10 player map that is 75 and 3, yeah just spectate them for a few minutes.

Bigger maps would be the biggest bonus, maybe some jungle ambush action, OR just let me be in the AC-130 Gunship circling the map with FF off

That's stupid, snipers are supposed to camp. In COD4 your supposed to camp strategically. COD4 is not CS:S where you can jump out and AWP a few guys and not die. Plus, the map rotates so campers will get cleared out anyways. If you like no camping FPS then try Unreal Tournament 2004 or 3.

Expert players, especially on HARDCORE mode will check camp spots anyways, because in HC players do not tend to make unneccesary movements. Softcore mode.......eh, why bother...

The mounted machine guns need a overheat/cooldown timer added. Or just get rid of them altogether.

Doesn't necessarily need 'bigger' maps, just new ones. Maps are plenty big. They're getting repetitive.

Martyrdom needs a nade to eat for it to work, ie if you toss all of your nades and die nothing happens, you need to have at least one. Other than that its fine.

Accuracy on the move needs to be adjusted, especially when changing stances.

A "queue" system for helos/airstrikes. Invariably I will get an airstrike or a helo just as someone else is getting theirs, and waiting for the event to clear is a huge rhythm-buster.

This game has a huge case of "AK-itis." And "P90-itis." These weapons need toning down. The AK is far too strong and accurate. The P90 needs only one clip, or a clip and a half by default. Right now it's just a high-powered bullet-hose.

Eh, I could go on. But this is just from playing too much. Still a great game.

I see what you're saying here. But IMO I don't think they're unfair or anything. I mean, you're basically a sitting duck to anything you're not shooting at. Using those MG's, you stick out like a sore thumb.

I agree. I'd like to see some new maps.

I think so, too.

Really? I mean, I see the P90 a lot, but not so much the AK from my experiences. I think the fix for P90 would be to make it less accurate. Although it is fairly accurate in real life, FAIK.
