How so? Assuming he had a contract, how is he entitled to royalties if his status prior to the game didn't warrant it? Was he famous before? Even if he didn't, agreeing to get paid a said price for said work before hand has no bearing on the success of said work unless that was part of the agreement. I assume that when they offered him $100K, he was thrilled to have the oportunity. Now that it is off the charts, he got greedy. (or, he just wants more press to build his career. No such thing as bad press etc. etc.)
This is a simple case of greed. As in most things along these lines, it is always after the fact. Nobody heard a peep about how hard the work was or how long the hours were. It didn't become an issue until after the game was proven to be popular. This all has to do with looking back and seeing someone get more than you and being envious and greedy.
