P5N32 e sli plus - Problem flashing back to older version

Hi guys, I am using the 1003 revision for my board, it is stable but limited on the overclocking abilities... Max you can go is 1700 FSB which is 3.4GHZ ( i ran my e6750 @3.6 and 3.8 smoothly with the 0501 but it was too hot cos there is a vcore lock in that revision ) Anyway I have been doing some reading and found out the 0901 is one of the best up to now for the plus version. But window update wont let me do it, and the flash tool in bios say this when i choose the file " DOWNGRADE ROM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE SYSTEM" ,,,, so what happen there?

Thanks alot

You have to make a bootable cd for dos, I used windows 98 bootable disk... took me ages to find it, and I don’t have the link any more.

You put the command in dos when you call the flash, so

awdflash 0901.bin /py /sn /f

That will bring the flash utility up and force the flash.

Good luck finding it, let us know!
