They aren't "official" in any capacity. We are talking about the class of super-rich that would be giving up power to become a "world leader." The whole bloody world is being set up as multi-level bureaucracy with decisions made at the top by those with control over the most industries and governments and mentally unhinged enough to use it. A general plan that has taken centuries to bear fruit on this level, and this is supposed to be the simple answer? How?
Hey! That quote that you quoted which was supposedly my quote was not my quote!

Your logic is completely wrong.

Just because AMD started gaining ground (they still only had 20% or LESS of the market share), does not mean that intel was not employing these
anti-competitive tactics.
It's simply that AMD had much better products at the time, so they were going to make sales either way.

However, like I said, Intel was still doing these fraudulent things.

End of case.

Still, no big deal. Did microsoft really get into trouble after that $500 something million fine? Nope. Business as usual.

Same for Intel. Do you really believe that these kinds of fines aren't taken into consideration when they act the way they do? Yeah, they'll take a little bit of a hit on the bottom line, but shares won't drop a whole lot. Maybe it won't be a stellar year for Intel, but it'll still be a good year.

A) Accusations(and theINQ story) should be proven true(correct) first...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/feedarticle/7545011

Quote:
BRUSSELS, May 28 (Reuters) - The European Commission strongly denied on Wednesday that it had reached any provisional decision in its antitrust investigation of the world's biggest chipmaker, Intel Corp. "There is no provisional or internal decision on this case. The investigation is very much active and ongoing," EU competition spokesman Jonathan Todd told a regular briefing.
The Financial Times Deutschland, citing Brussels sources, said the European Union competition authority planned to take action against Intel's sales and distribution practices and would publish an official decision late this summer.
In an unusually sharp rebuttal, Todd said the article was misleading and was an example of "irresponsible journalism".
B) Anticompetitive practices prevent or reduce competition in a market... If Intel's practices neither prevented or reduced competition(during the time frame in question) can they be described as anticompetitive? Oh and gaining market share supports my previous assertion. Monopolies don't lose market share...

I'm not a fan of either company but I will at least hold my judgment till I've seen definitive proof.

-EDIT-

And if your going to through statistics/percentages out there at least get them right...
