Arctic Pro 7 owners please come help...

Did my Arctic Pro 7 come messed up or something? The bottom plates seem messed up comparing form the left and right side. Also, the top little things looks deformed too, can someone tell me if it's true?

album link:

Just look at the captions and you'll see what I'm talking about!

Also, check and tell me where should I position my fan? I don't know which side to put my fan in... thanks

Damaged while being shipped.
Fan goes on flat end.
Mine faces front, pushes through to exhaust out back case fan.

What should I do? I've already paid 26 for this, and it's suppose to be new... Will it affect how my heatsink works?

It will affect the air flow slightly through the heatsinc plus you dont know if there is any damage to the heatpipes, i would send it back and demand a refund

Just bend them back even, GENTLY. Mine was like that after shipping (bought it used) I just pulled them straight and haven't noticed any adverse effects.

Face the cooler so the hot air blows into your rear exhaust or the top exhaust.

in my picture you could see it's blowing into the top exhaust, while my psu's exhaust would be at the bottom and the video card would be in the way, so it's better having it blown to the top one right?

i have used my metal scissors to gently bend them back to place. thanks. should be working fine now.

I don't think I plan to overclock it much, is there any other good thing about putting this heatsink on if I don't plan to overclock?
