I thought you said that there was one connected to the modem and the other was connected to the router.

Your computers are connected via Ethernet to the LAN ports...

Your modem is connected to the Modem jack...

Do you have any [port forwarding/Firewall rules/DMZ] configured/enabled in your router?

Are you using DHCP or static?

What OS on each machine?

Anything connected to the wireless?

Do you have any Torrent/file sharing clients on the machine you're not gaming on?

The odd thing is, it's doing nothing... even when I just boot it on. The second it connects to the internet. Computer #2 starts to lag.(Ping Spikes)

Also can you define modem? There are two types of modems (or incorrectly referred to as modems). Is it a DSL/Cable Modem or 56K modem?

Modem should be connected to modem, not a PC. If you have one computer in the modem slot, the computers in the "Wired Computers" ports will attempt to connect to the internet through the Modem port

I have a couple ports forwarded on for the second computer.
I have DHCP on, and all the computers are set to a static IP Via Windows XP.
I have another laptop, that is connected through Ethernet for the internet, and via Wireless also.(So, the laptop is connected both ways, Ethernet, and Wireless.)

Don't connect 1 computer to 1 network via two method's unless you have a router/switch that knows how to aggregate bandwidth... the N1 doesn't...

What ports do you have Forwarded? To what IP?

hmm, try switching up the plugs a little. . ie move the Cat5 from slots 1/2 to 3/4 . . maybe its a simple problem with that plug. . . also you might try resetting the router to factory defaults . . does computer 1 ever lag? . . are they running different OS's? . . try booting in safe mode w/ networking on both and see if it still does it. . .

just trying some things I might try

Sorry for nitpicking, I know it doesn't make a difference, but I'm running CAT6.
