It's just faster and seems to lag less than FF does. I'm not hating on FF but Opera is is just a plain better browser imo.

Opera does seem faster, I will admit. But we're talking anywhere from like 2 seconds - miliseconds here.

True but it just feel snappier. This build of FF rc1 I'm using now is really good though, Much better than v2, It's not the stock Mozilla blob so I don't know how it would compare to that but it has at least temporarily got me to switch from Opera

Opera isn't much faster than my FF3 RC1... It was a bit faster than my FF2, but FF3 is faster.

Still, though, even if there are faster browsers (there are; Safari is actually faster than my Firefox), I continue to prefer FF because of the things I mentioned above.

Opera as lots of pros, but the few things that bother me about it:

1. The URL bar is BELOW the Tab Bar, and there's no way of changing it (why???)
2. No autoscrolling (click and drag with middle-click)
3. While Opera has ad-block, it isn't nearly as sophisticated as FF's

Those 3 things have enough of an impact on my browsing experience that it's make or break.

I'm also not raving about my browser or ranting about others'; I'm simply sharing my experience.
