yep already tried that and it just beeps like crazy and it gives another code which means that it detects no RAM... so I believe it's not the RAMs fault. In a minute i'm just gonna go turn it on and press the on/off button and reset button like mad in hopes that it will go through post... I've had to do that before but for a totally different reason. Occassionally the board will power on, no display on the monitor, and the post code will read "FF" but clearly has not gone through post and it just freezes that way. I found out (by pressing buttons wildly, which is what I plan on doing here in a second) that if I press power on and reset at the exact same moment, that the board will restart and go through post correctly.
(to monopolyguy) and VERY smart man for not buying this piece of crap. I will tell everyone I see who is considering buying it how much I HATE this board.... my 780i before was a dream compared to this thing.
