Keep my Pentium C D310 or upgrade?

Thread Starter
I am building my lawyer friend a new budget (MSFT Word only) computer because his old one crapped out on him.

http://www.overclock.net/intel-build...ners-uber.html

Should I salvage the old CPU Penitum C D310 and buy this mobo http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813138079 with this ram http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820144199 or should I just get a new CPU with a different mobo.

Which option would be cheaper?
