PCProbe is inaccurate when it comes to temperature monitoring. i always add at LEAST 15 Celsius to my results (after converting from fahrenheit of course).
Why do you find it inaccurate, in theory it is a MOBO software... And i would have thought that it would just pick it's tempratures from the Hardware monitor built into the BIOS?

But that's what i think anyway

Cheers
Slim

Edit: Also i use speedfan sometimes to check my temps, and this is also the same... So is speedfan also inaccurate?

I don't find it inaccurate - i know it is. Trust me. i'm 100% certain the majority of the OCN members would back me up on this.

Use Coretemp if you want the exact readings. but as i said, adding 15 degree's to PC probes result is more than enough to compensate. i prefer PC probe as it looks much nicer and is just more convenient - i already know my CPU runs hot anyway. and ive set the PC Probe alarm threshold accordingly.

The vista rating is pointless. I can have my sig rig which gets 5.9 across the board and then take CDs skulltrail rig that also gets 5.9 across the board. whats the difference?

The vista rating was really designed to get users to upgrade the weak parts of their system. I find it pointless to use it on higher end systems. Also note that the benchmarking only takes 2-3 minutes. It cant be that accurate if they are only testing for that long (which tests cpu, gpu, hd, ram ect.).

Just my take on the rating system.
