Is the F.E.A.R. platinium edition worth getting?

At my local GAME store they're selling the F.E.A.R. Platinium pack or something for just £13.99, which is a steal if you ask me. I've played F.E.A.R. and enjoyed it but are the expansions really any good at all? Or are they just the same old stuff repeated for another 6 hours or so?

I personally have been wanting to pick up the plat edition myself, but never really got around to it.

How much is that on this side of the pond? If it's less than $30 (lowest I have seen), it's cheaper!

I got it a couple of months ago, but with all the stuff I've had to play and do, I haven't had any time to play the expansions, but the original is really good. I'd suggest you go for it, because as you said it is a steal.

@ legoman - I picked it up for $30 around Christmas. EDIT: gogamer has it for $27 http://gogamer.com/F-E-A-R--Platinum...VVviewprod.htm

£13.99 is about $27. It's a really good deal for the price. I'm just wondering what exactly it adds to the existing game. Apparently the events in both Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate are going to be ignored by Project Origin (since EP and PM were made by a different developer) so whats the point of getting it?

Thanks for the input so far.

Shameless bump. Anyone else got anything to add?
