[INQ] Nvidia GT200 sucessor tapes out - Page 2

I think it is funny that the INQ are so poor, yet they are by far the one most popular source in the new forum here. I suppose if they write something about EVERYTHING, once in a while it is bound to be true. I guess most people forget all about the other 90%.

I bet theres a little bit of truth under all this hate. Still would like a better source though. I heard from a better source that G92 yields aren't well so I wouldn't be surprised.

The GT280 will be about 25 per cent faster but cost more than twice as much. A month or so after the 770 comes the 700, basically two 770s on a slab. This will crush the GT280 in just about every conceivable benchmark and likely cost less. Why? Because.
I can't argue with this logic

I think its a good counterbalance to all the Nvidia lovin' that comes out of Tomshardware

But don't count this one guy as the entirety of INQ, its just one writer.... charlie something...

Clearly you lived under a rock until just recently as you don't recall all the hoopla about the HD 2900XT. I guess Nvidia paid off INQ for those reports to air.

There are alot of very childish remarks in there.

Why dont you site some proof. Oh wait you dont have any right. Sometimes I wonder what is going through his head. Looks like someone is a little miffed that he did not get invited by nVidia to a part of the NDA group.

Nah man, you really cant compare this rant to that one, he wrote that one clearly long before any real G80 information was out, and while he may be one of the biggest ATI fanboys I've ever seen... Many of his facts about the GT200 have been confirmed

fanboi Richter scale 10 (logarithmic!)

Shockingly sensational and unfortunately not true.

Being honest, I would like the GT200 to be an utter fail, whilst I personally am an nVidia fan, I feel the market has become too unbalanced, and the Gt200 tanking against the RV770 would right that problem.

EDIT: missed a massive typo

well i would like to see Nvidia fall

This guy has a bunch of facts and makes some pretty insightful judgements. Why argue these cards are less than 3 weeks away. Happy thoughts
