Speedtest numbers legit? - Page 2

Why do people put up with Comcast? Is it because they are popular and have high speeds? I know about 4 people off the top of my head that have had continuous problems with Comcast. One of them ordered there Internet and TV Package and the same day the guy came to install the internet, it wasn't working! They had 3 Technicians since come out and it still doesn't work. My other friend's mom have Comcast come out at least once her week to there home and 2-3 out of 7 days there Internet is down, also at night time that thing has a 10 second delay when your trying to load a page!

Quoted for truth. I generally can achieve speeds using torrents that are nearly identical to what I get on Speedtest.net. I do have Comcast, and yes their Powerboost is anoying, and their throttling operations are... gay.

The moment Verizon FiOS comes to where I live, Comcast is loosing at least one customer.

Props to you for getting what you deserve!
At least Verizon doesn't share network and has a constant speed and great customer support (except when you get connected to people in India and Africa that you can't understand)

And their 15\\15 service is AMAZING. Seriously, for someone who torrents as much as I do (legal stuff...), 2.5MB\\s download AND upload is like ****ing heaven.
